Trent Schacht

Trent Schacht has worked professionally in politics since 2007, and has spent more than a decade working in digital for electoral and issue advocacy groups. Trent served as the Iowa Digital Director for the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign.

Prior to joining Meadowlark, Trent worked with a number of groups including NextGen Climate, Gretchen Whitmer for Governor, Ready for Hillary, Hoffa-Hall for Teamsters Leadership, and various political campaigns both local and national levels.

Trent is an avid motorsports fan and has attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on several occasions. He is originally from Des Moines, Iowa — where he and his wife currently reside with their daughter, Riley, and two dogs, Buster and Baylee.
